Please join us for our annual dinner with other Sodus Bay friends, cocktails and guest speaker Frank Sciremammano, the longest-serving American on the 10-member IJC panel.

Many of the Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay shoreline residents were very upset by the removal of Frank Sciremammano Jr, PhD, PE from an international board that oversees lake-level regulation.

"It was not normal attrition, but not unexpected given my criticism of the IJC over Plan 2014. They apparently can't handle dissent," Sciremammano said in an email to the Democrat and Chronicle.

"If it were not for his help, the destruction of the south shore would be much greater than it has been," Dr. Daniel Barletta, the Monroe County director of a shoreline property owners' group.

Frank is the most sought-after speaker on the issues of Plan 2014. He is a retired Professor of Engineering of Rochester Institute of Technology and was a Member of International St. Lawrence River Board of Control from 1995 till 2018, and a Member of IJC Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Study Board from 2000 till 2006.

Frank will talk about Water Level Control on Lake Ontario.
